SIGNS OF THE TIMES
MASSAPEQUA'S HISTORICAL MARKERS

by George Kirchmann

Signs of the TimesOrder your copy of "Signs of the Times" today!
The Historical Society of the Massapequas recently published a booklet describing the fifteen markers the Society has placed around the area to highlight sites of historical significance. There is an image of each marker, along with images of the specific location "back then," and what each area looks like now. A page detailing the importance of each site accompanies the photos. A map is included that can help readers locate each marker.

The book will be sold at Historical Society Events throughout the year.

The cost of the book is $10 if you purchase it directly from us at one of our fairs or events, or if you arrange to pick it up locally.

The cost will be $13 if you require the book to be shipped by mail.
(You can click here for an order form.)

You can pick up books you've ordered from Tim's Florist on Park Blvd. in Massapequa Park, or you can contact the author if you need to make other local delivery arrangements.

All sales of the Signs of the Times will be used to cover the costs to publish the book and to defray the costs associated with maintaining our historical site and artifacts

Please contact the author, George Kirchmann, with any additional questions.
