About the Historical Society

The mission of the Historical Society of the Massapequas is to preserve the local history of Massapequa and Massapequa Park, and to educate people about the richness of our local heritage.

If you like attending our events and support our mission, then please consider joining our group and become a member!

We regret to inform you that we have cancelled our upcoming May Open House. We are working to see how we can open for our Strawberry Festival in June, although it will look differently this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. Thank you for understanding.

Also, we are currently in the midst of fundraising to help restore the buildings of the Historical Complex , so if you can, please help!

- Thank You -

The Historical Society of the Massapequas would like to thank our doctors, nurses, first responders, and public safety officers on the front lines.
